Since June 2005 TECTUS is certified manufacturer according to the ATEX regulations for RFID readers and transponders of low frequency range 125 kHz.
TECTUS belongs now to only a few ATEX certified RFID manufacturers worldwide.
Additional to the stationary heavy duty RFID reader TPF-35 the TPA series of standard antennas complete the reader system.
A certain product range of different ATEX certified RFID TAGs and also the available ATEX handheld PDA RFID reader TRISP (TECTUS Rugged Intrinsic safe PDA) allows the use of RFID technology in hazardous explosion proof areas like gas filling stations, chemical plants, mining and offshore industry etc.

RFID Transponder

SPACE TAG 125 kHz and 13,56 MHz SPACE Tag is the most versatile product within the range of the TECTUS industry transponders. Due to the manufacturing process, the Tectus products can be offered at the best cost/performance ratio. It has been designed using a dark blue polycarbonate. The SPACE Tag is available in 2 sizes (20 and 30mm) and with different ICs. The SPACE Tags are used in many different applications such as waste management, pallet identification, warehouse management, process control, etc.
