Flowmeter (solids) for high temperature applications
Bulkslide HT
Rice Lake Weighing Systems Europe B.V., from Heteren, The Netherlands, is introducing the Bulkslide HT, a flowmeter for solids within a temperature of maximal 160 °C.
The product will slide in vertical direction over a vertical plate with a curve on the end. In the curve, we measure the center point flying force which will be calculated into a flow (t/h) and a total (kg or ton). The advantages are, nearly no maintenance; nearly no power consumption; a very stable zero point; the system is very compact, has low space requirements, it can be pre-calibrated with a certain accuracy, the speed of the product inside the Bulkslide is very low so the abrasion is also low compared to other systems, the accuracy is nearly independent from density and other product characteristics.
Some components, like loadcells and rubber flanges, are getting a special execution, in a way that the Bulkslide is resistance for products within temperatures until 160 °C.
The housing is stainless steel.
The product must be free-flowing and non-sticky.
The delivery program of Rice Lake is more consisting the Master belt scales, weigh- and dosing belts, screw weigh systems, loss-in-weight systems, impact flow meters, silo + bin weigh systems, batch systems. Furthermore, the Rice Lake bench scales, loadcells and indicators.
