The machine is designed for the basic sifting processes of classification, de-dust removal, and control sieving. Among other things, it is used for control sieving prior to packaging, for separating grain sizes into up to four fractions, and for the precise separation of longs and twins.
THE SIFTOMAT can be equipped with one to three screen decks, enabling it to handle a variety of tasks. One screen deck is used for dedusting or control sifting, while two screen decks allow both processes to be carried out simultaneously. With up to three screen decks arranged one above the other, classification into several granulometry fractions is possible. The screen inclination is adjusted by loosening a few screws and is kept simple in design. The factory presetting of the inclination and speed facilitates commissioning.
The SIFTOMAT food is a customized version for applications in the food industry. It is used for size sorting of cut vegetables and other foods such as cheese or meat products. The material is fed through a perforated plate, through whose openings smaller edge pieces are separated, while the longer product pieces reach the good product outlet.
The SIFTOMAT food is designed for easy cleaning and to meet hygiene requirements. All components in the screen box that come into contact with the product are made of stainless steel and are easily accessible. The mobile design allows the machine to be transported directly to the intended location using a pallet truck.
