If your sieve meshes is broken, has low tension or is even damaged, sieve covering service can often be a cost-effective alternative to replacing the entire mesh screen.
Send your sieves to FUCHS Maschinen AG and they will be re-covered. The big advantage of this is that you save the cost of a completely new sieve frame.
FUCHS MASCHINEN AG has the necessary know-how as well as a large stock of sieve meshes. If the desired mesh is in stock and the sieve frame is available, your sieve can be covered in a very short time.
Maximum sieve dimensions and shapes for sieve covering
Round sieve shapes: up to a maximum diameter of 1,500 mm
Square sieve shapes: up to 1,500 mm x 1,500 mm
Square sieve shapes: up to 1,840 mm x 960 mm
Sieve mesh materials - choice between:
- Stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A; AISI 304)
- Stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A; AISI 316L)
- Synthetic mesh (PA, PME or PET)
Depending on the requirements, two-component or superglue is used for the adhesives. Also available in FDA quality on request. Coarser V2A fabrics are soldered lead-free.
The corresponding certificate can be supplied on request. For very coarse mesh >10 mm applications, perforated sheets are used in most cases.
