The highly anticipated GEAPS Exchange 2025 trade show is set to take place from February 22–25 at the Kansas City Convention Center in Missouri, USA. Join Us at Booth 538 from February 22–25, 2025.
This premier event attracts industry professionals from around the globe, and we are excited to announce that BLT and ScrapeTec will be exhibiting at Booth 538.

BLT WORLD Inc, in conjunction with the global ScrapeTec team, plays an important role in the USA, by assisting companies during conveyor handling, to effectively manage dust emission and material spillage. They will be exhibiting at the trade show and presenting the latest technologies and products, such as the contact-free AirScrape conveyor belt skirting system, which is a highly-effective side seal that lies over the conveyor belt, without contact, and creates negative pressure on the belt, due to its specially-designed blade structure.

Visitors to this trade show can take advantage of the unique opportunity to get a comprehensive overview of the current offerings and experience the latest innovations in this industry at the Scrapetec/BLT World booth.

AirScrape impresses at Bauma China 2024
Scrapetec conquers new markets worldwide Bauma China 2024 in Shanghai was an outstanding success for Scrapetec Trading GmbH. Together with their long-standing representative, Qingdao Best Friend Rubber & Plastic Co. Ltd, they presented their innovative solutions, in particular the AirScrape – the patented side seal for transfers on conveyor belt systems. This technology is increasingly conquering the world markets, and now also China. The booth of Scrapetec and Qingdao Best Friend Rubber & Plastic Co. Ltd. attracted considerable attention, especially for the new dust control technology of the AirScrape. The positive response came mainly from mining specialists from various departments, who showed great interest in the improved efficiency and dust reduction. In addition to China, we were also able to initiate promising new projects with leading companies from Africa, Russia, Australia, the UK, Turkey and Poland at the trade fair. These discussions open up exciting prospects for future cooperation in

US- MSHA Silicat Rules and Scrapetec solutions How Scrapetec Can Enhance Compliance and Worker Safety
US- MSHA Silicat Rules and Scrapetec solutions
How Scrapetec Can Enhance Compliance and Worker Safety Introduction In the mining industry, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations is paramount to protect workers from potential hazards. One such regulation that has garnered significant attention is the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Silicat Rule. This rule aims to mitigate the health risks associated with exposure to respirable crystalline silica, a common hazard in mining operations. In this article, we will explore the key provisions of the MSHA Silicat Rule and discuss how Scrapetec’s innovative solutions can assist mining operators in achieving compliance and enhancing worker safety. The final rule will take effect on June 17, 2024. Understanding the MSHA Silicat Rule The MSHA Silicat Rule establishes permissible exposure limits (PELs) for respirable crystalline silica to reduce miners’ exposure to harmful levels of silica dust. It requires mining operators to implement engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection

DustAvenger in the mines
DustAvenger in the mines
In the dusty world of industrial mines, workers battled daily against a brutal and visible enemy: dust. It was everywhere, on machines, in the air, and on their skin. It made work not just unpleasant, but dangerous, as dust can lead to serious health issues. Then, one day, a team of heroes known as the DustAvenger arrived at the mine. They brought with them a mysterious weapon, the AirScrape – a contactless side seal from Scrapetec. With their help, they installed the AirScrape along the conveyor belts. Suddenly, as if by magic, the dust began to disappear. The air cleared, machines ran smoother, and the workers’ faces brightened. The DustAvenger had managed to control the dust sustainably. They were hailed as heroes who not only improved working conditions but also protected the workers’ health and well-being. And so, the AirScrape became a legend in the mines, a symbol of innovation and safety. And if you walk the corridors of the mine today, you’ll

Dust protection solution thanks to innovative components
Operators of bulk material handling systems are always looking for solutions to ensure the safety of their systems and employees and to minimize the risk of explosions. Of course, the non-contact side and rear seals from ScrapeTec only work perfectly if the distance to the conveyor belt remains constant. Other solutions ensure this: The SureSupport, for example, stabilizes the belt exactly where the bulk material hits the transfer point and deformations can occur under heavy weight loads. And the PrimeTracker, the conveyor belt tracking assistant, mounted on the lower returning belt, controls and regulates the even belt run and thus also the belt overhang to the AirScrape seal. This described interaction of the innovative ScrapeTec products is defined by the manufacturer as a dust protection solution.”Transferpoint of conveyor systems are real ”dust emitters”, which pose a risk to employees and system safety with their enormous dust emissions,” says founder and owner Wilfried Dünnwald, who is responsible for the development of ScrapeTec products. ”My years of working underground as a mining engineer motivated me to develop
