The first operational V*SEPi - RO filtration In Europe

In Belgium since march 30th 2007

On March the 15th, 2007 our first V*SEPi84" for Europe arrived in Diksmuide, Belgium.
Inorder to achieve a legal acceptable dischargeable waterquality from digestate of Biomass and manure it is very difficult to reduce the COD, the N and the P with the current traditional membrane filtration systems.
Here are the main reasons why: V*SEPi-filtration changes the way Engineers think about Separations!
1. High Filtration Rates: VSEP’s throughput rates average three to ten times higher than competing membrane configurations.
2. Fouling Resistance: VSEP systems use a patented vibratory shear process that is 10 times more efficient than conventional systems to keep the membrane surface clean. 3. High Solids: Because VSEP relies on a vibrating membrane surface to keep solids suspended, it is able to achieve very high concentrations without fouling. 4. High Efficiency: In the VSEP system, shear waves are focused on the membrane surface allowing for a 99% conversion of energy to shear cleaning. 5. Engineered Dependability & A Support Team You Can Count On: VSEP systems have only two moving parts; the torsion spring (which is tested to assure infinite life), and the bearings (which are automatically lubricated) 6. Compact Design: A VSEP system occupying only 16 square feet of floor space, supports up to 1,400 square feet of membrane area and does the work of a system occupying 10 to 50 times that space. 7. Lower Cost Per Volume Of Output
