Drying and producing functional animal feeds using the Pegasus® Vacuum
Dinnissen Process Technology introduces new functionality The Pegasus® Vacuum Coater allows producers in the animal feed and food sectors to create a vacuum environment within their production processes, enabling them to deal with a wide variety of challenges. Dinnissen introduce 2 new applications for the vacuum coater: “Effectively introducing functional additives” and “Drying raw ingredients at low temperatures.” The benefits of these innovations are the retention of taste and colour and preservation of the action of functional additives such as vitamins, minerals, ameliorators, taste enhancers, yeast and enzymes. The first of these focuses on the introduction of functional additives after the heating stage. These additives include a wide range of substances such as vitamins, minerals, enzymes, prebiotics and probiotics, taste enhancers, yeast and other enhancers, which can be added to powders, granules and granulates. Functional active ingredients can be processed as powders or liquids and are always added in

These metal separators like it hot S+S develops magnet and metal separators in high-temperature version
These metal separators like it hot
S+S develops magnet and metal separators in high-temperature version At the K 2010 show in hall 10, stand 10E60, S+S presents comprehensive separation and sorting solutions for the complete life cycle of plastics. As a trade fair highlight S+S presents magnet and metal separators that have been developed specifically for the installation at high-performance injection-moulding machines and protect these machines against metal contaminations. During processing, smallest metal particles that might be contained in the plastic granulate may get into the molten plastic and thus cause expensive malfunctions in the injection-moulding process. In the production of preforms another important aspect is that PET is processed at high material temperatures, which means that conventional metal separators may not be suitable for such applications. S+S has developed magnet systems and metal separators in high-temperature version that reliably remove metal particles from very hot plastic granulates. With the Protector-XHT S+S has successfully developed

All about PET
At the K 2010 trade fair S+S presents contaminant detectors and separators for production and recycl At the K 2010 plastics trade fair in hall 10, stand 10E60, S+S Separation and Sorting Technology GmbH presents comprehensive separation and sorting solutions for the complete life cycle of plastics. The systems that are presented comprise metal detectors and separators as well as magnet systems for all production stages and conveying types in plastics processing, and contaminant separators for plastics recycling. With the main subject of "All about PET" S+S here focuses on PET processing and recycling. All the systems presented at the trade fair are highly sophisticated solutions that represent the result of 30 years of experience. At the K 2010 S+S presents innovative solutions for the problem of protecting high-performance injection moulds for preforms or caps and closures against metal contaminations to increase the economic efficiency of the complete production process. In this field S+S presents two new systems: With the Protector-XHT S+S has successfully
