Overview: This is an intensive course designed to introduce the technology of storing and handling bulk materials. It also covers the problems that can result from incorrect equipment selection, and looks at appropriate design methodologies for safe and reliable plant. Overview: This course discusses the causes and effect of electrostatic charge in bulk solids handling and the hazards affecting product quality control and risk assessment. Principal charge measurement techniques are reviewed and their use in the prediction and solution of problems discussed.
