Concetti announces the introduction of a new bagging machine The new IGF bag placer is fully automatic and suitable for handling free flowing bulk products (feed, seed, chemicals, grain, whole food, etc) into open mouth bags and it becomes the latest member of the Concetti high technology IGF bagging family with thousands of installations in about 60 countries. This Concetti open mouth bagging machine reaches speeds up 600 bags per hour, from 15 to 100 lbs. It can handle many bag types - paper, porous and non porous polywoven, polyethylene - and different sizes. The format change takes place in a totally automatic way in only 90 seconds, working with flat or with gusseted open mouth bags. The Igf bag placer has a self diagnostic facility built into the control system. Empty bags are taken from the magazine one at a time, with a very reliable system, positioned exactly and then filled. Bag handling machine on high capacity for milk powder MATAM has developed their filling line for 500 bags per hour to a capacity of 550 bags per hour. A goal of 600 bags per hour is possible (13.500 till 15.00 kg per hour). The line is an in-line under level filler. We fill the bag bottoms up on gross dosing to ensure an minimum of dust while filling. By adjustments in the different dosing points we are able to realize a process acceleration of almost one second per bag. This guarantees an output of 550 bags per hour. Transporter moves 3 Bag Filling Stations onder 12 Silos The group AVT has recently delivered a 10T wheel transporter to a German customer. The transporter will move 3 Bag Filling Stations under 12 Silos. This transporter is again a nice example of a transport system which is completely designed and produced `in house`. The wheel transporter consists of a quality steel tubular frame realized in two parts for easy shipment and which includes a series of supporting plates for connecting the machinery on the top. The transporter features some nice 4 heavy duty swivel wheels (retractable during the bags filling phase), 4 compact traction wheels (2 mounted in X end 2 in Y direction for omnidirectional movements) with ‘AC’ drive motors and proportional speed via frequency inverters, radio control, telescopic electrical box (for easy accessibility) and removable pneumatic box, 4x end-stops and flash lights to each corner of the transporter.

The BlockTop™ closure system is already being utilised in a host of packing rooms around the world where is helping to produce uniform square shaped bags; that are hygienically closed; yet easy to open. BlockTop™ also helps to optimise bag sizes and provide bag cost purchasing saving opportunities. Used in conjunction with Chronos BTH Bottom-up filling systems, BlockTop™ provides total bag control throughout the closing process. Once filled the bag top is pre-cut, creased, double folded and hot melt glue is applied between the folds. The bag top is then pressed to spread the glue. Each closed bag top is folded over and further glue applied. The folded bag top is pressed onto the filled bag to form a square shaped bag. BlockTop™ sealed bags are easy to open, by simply pulling across the top of the bag, which in then unrolled.
